The B.E.T. Center is excited to introduce our Recovery and Life Management Skills group for people struggling with addiction or just interested in learning healthy life management strategies. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) techniques, this therapist-led group is an excellent resource for anyone struggling with an addictive substance or behavior. We pull elements from the SMART Recovery Four-Point Program (outlined below), as well as other cognitive-based resources.

  • Building and Maintaining Motivation

  • Coping with Urges

  • Managing Thoughts, Feelings and Behaviors

  • Living a Balanced Life

  • Sleep Strategies

  • Effective Communication Skills

  • Self-Regulation Training

You will learn tools, techniques and strategies within each point to develop the skills you need to overcome your addiction and lead a more fulfilling life. Your journey will be supported not only by a licensed therapist, but also by a group of peers who are on their own road to recovery. The result is an environment free of judgement or stress where you can focus on learning how to beat your addiction.

Sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM. This is a seven week non-linear program with open enrollment, so you are welcome to join at any time.
